New Member From Oregon

New Member here from Oregon. Not new to 67-72 pickups and Suburbans but new to having my own. Ended up with two. 72 Suburban I rescued from the wrecking yard I work at. I wouldn't have had a problem with it getting parted out as long as its done right and saving other vehicles but the yard I work at is modern cars and they don't really understand the value and it would have gone to waste and been prematurely crushed. I wanted the Burb saved or totally parted out at a place that gets classic cars.
My second is a 72 Chevy LWB I just traded for a 2003 Silverado Short Wide I have had for 7 years or so. Its a Big block Camper special truck, now fitted with a small block. Granny 4 speed. Good truck so far. Decided I am going to keep the Burb after all and get that project moving along while I save some money for my 66 Plymouth Belvedere sedan (post) 5.7 Hemi and TR6060 conversion. Pics to follow soon.

Lot's of great resources here on the boards, and a bunch of us in the Northwest who can assist as needed.

Re: New Member From Oregon

Got some pics of the Cheyenne custom camper. Called it a camper special in my post, I had Ford on the brain for some reason The rear bumper is so ridiculous it reminds me of a 1970 Chevelle model I had when I was a kid SPID pic included.
