Re: WTB 72 Saddle door panels

I have a set of dark saddle '72 door panels from a Cheyenne. They need some work but are restorable. Some dummy painted the entire panel including the woodgrain and stainless trim white....I pressure washed one of them and almost all the paint came off the door panel, not the woodgrain insert. I would assume the same would happen with the other one.

I am restoring a set of parchment door panels, one of which was painted black. I hit them with walnut shells in the blast cabinet and the finish looks good and a light coat of paint I think will make those like new.

That said I think the same would hold for the dark saddle panels...I can send you some pictures if your interested.
