My truck got a ton this Christmas:

-Rear gravel deflectors
-A new glove box
-A new gauge cluster
-weather-stripping for the entire car
-door hinges
-68' chevy headlights and bezels
-Two new wheel arches for the bed
-Frame brackets for bumpers
-new hood latch
-Cab/frame supports
-New gauge lights
-New instrument control panel (air, defroster, heat)
-New edelbrock air filter and cover

The best part is, I only spent $175

A pair of chrome half moon headlight covers. And a Dynomax exhaust system, but it will not be here for a few weeks. Too cold to work on it anyway.

Re: What did your 67-72 truck get for Christmas?

A replacement spring to help the brake shoes compress after the foot is removed from the pedal. The previous one had stretched and was not pulling the shoes back together.

Re: What did your 67-72 truck get for Christmas?

As Ted McMahon says, "A NEEEEW CAMPER SHELL!! Due in January.

AND, before that happens, I managed to get it into my mother-in-law's garage (with a little space on each end), so that I can clean up the roof, before the new shell goes on. Ima grind all the rust and stuff off and repaint the roof.

Second pic is upside down. There is about one inch from the bumper to the back wall of the garage. In front there is about 4 inches. Longhorns is long!

Re: What did your 67-72 truck get for Christmas?

The longbed she got a few years ago is being cleaned, prepped, sanded, filled, primered, assembled and will be mounted this weekend.
Behind-the-seat fuel tank installed with new fuel pick-up and fuel line.
New felts and weatherstripping for both doors.
Elbows and mirror heads to go with the below-eyeline mounts she got earlier in the year.
New U-Joints
New leaf spring bushings

She's been a very good girl and is getting pampered now that I've got time to actually work in the garage.

Tires for my transport wheels. 265/35r22 fronts and 285/40r22 rears. Haven't had a chance to put them on the truck yet though.

It actually has a 402 now. Apparently I am "not allowed to have a signature" according to my account, so I cannot change my sig either.

Not a jingle jolly thing, unless you count the 16 x 8 steelies I got last fall for the '72. Still in boxes, I grabbed those when they were on sale for $90@. Pre-Black Friday Sale! Hopefully the Easter Bunny will bring a set of tires.
