Same bumper

That's very interesting. It must have been the same bumper in 67-8. In rolled one of my customers with a 67 GMC he got from the original owner...white bumpers, so I know it didn't have one of the common chrome replacements. His orignal owner's manual and the sales books I pulled out did show the straight bumper on the front of the GMCs.
GMC must have later thought they obstructed the park lights or something, because they bent that area of the bumpers starting in 69. Even though the park lights remained the same.
