86 D30 head swap
So I found a D30 6.2 ltr diesel(military version of the K30?) but both heads are cracked and non-repairable. Does anyone know the casting numbers on 6.5 heads that I can use on this block?

You can use 6.5 heads on your 6.2, just make sure the castings are the same left and right bank on engine and the pre chambers are all the same. The chambers will have markings on them.

Are you saying that I should be looking for 6.5 heads that have the same casting numbers as the 6.2? I was making sure the injector angle and threads were the same.
