Trying to figure out what year frame I have?

I bought a 70 C10, but the frame is from another year. I was told it was out of a 72 pickup, but I would like to verify prior to getting new lowering spindles. Are there other ways to tell than just by the vin on the frame (can't read it)

Thanks

Here are the pictures I just took. The one in the grass is prior to me getting the pickup.
Thanks for your help.

Definitely a '71 or '72. It has the factory brake line tabs for the hard to soft line connections on the front of the cross member. '71 and '72 had factory disc brakes and the lines would be there. '70 and earlier had drums and the tabs at the rear of the cross member for the drum brake hoses.

Re: Trying to figure out what year frame I have?

Thanks, it's also looking like a 72 from the vin number. After reading through some posts about frame vins, it seems the 2 is for 1972.
