Can't get the poly bushing into my rear control arm.
So I easily removed the old worn rubber bushing from the rear control arms by drilling holes into the rubber bushings.
i went to install the new poly bushing from LMC by putting the special lube on it all, then I put the collar in the bushing and started pressing it into the arm with a C clamp. Now it's 3/4 way in, and I cannot get it the rest of the way in, and have no idea how I would get it out. Lol. No, I didn't freeze the bushings first, but I did remember reading that in the forum, unfortunately I remembered that once the bushing got stuck. Any suggestions? It is pushed in enough that I was able to insert the trail arm bolt through the collar and some big washers and a LOT of air with the impact gun. Now it's stuck. I wonder if freezing the remaining part of the bushing with some dry ice would help it go in?

I used a press to install mine , or use a big vice never used any ice or freezer

The problem is that as you press down on the face of the bushing it wants to "shroom" and squish instead of drive into the arm.

Just in case there is another guy as dumb or dumber than me...........first of all..........don't admit that..........because you are going nowhere in life if you are! haha.
Second of all........I couldn't get them to fit because I never looked close enough at them before installing that they are supposed to go in a certain way. There's a fat side and a skinny side Oh, and as for getting them back out after pressing them in really hard, I ended up cutting a piece of 2.25" exhaust pipe and used a big C clamp and finally was able to get them out. Again and again and again I learn that whenever I feel like I'm forcing something or having a really hard time with something, I need to simply step away for the day and come back to it with fresh eyes and half a bit of brains, lol
