Ah yes!... The deadly stake pockets left in the middle! Hard to imagine doing all that work on the truck and then leaving them in?

But maybe I am missing something! Maybe these folks are all planning to install a set of wood bed sides and they figure the extra stake pockets will come in handy.

The guy sent me pics of the VIN and SPID. CS147Z. It's a factory short bed. He said the original bed was stolen and this one was installed.

Glad to know that everything matches... but still I wonder why the guy who made this bed left out one important detail. Surely everyone knows about this? But apparently not.
