Braided hoses?

Was thinking about just the heater hoses and radiator.

How were you planning on attaching the hose? Just with hose clamps, or the covered hose clamps? I haven't decided if I'm going to use it for the radiator and heater hoses...

I've been using Earl's on my truck. Very good quality, and even better, a local dealer that's been very, very helpful.

Not cheap, but the most beatiful radiator/heater hoses I've ever seen here.

I've used the braided covers before on these hoses but it was a major pain in the *ss to install, the covers for clamps weren't very good and they didn't exactly match the Aeroquip braided power steering and tranny lines.

Mudder I would also go with the cool flex hose's they are pretty killler looking ..

Have been checking out the ones Summit sells. but these look a lot nicer.

I used just the braided sleeves, obviously cheaper than the cool flex which are pretty sweet. I bought Russell brand off ebay for about $30. The draw back to the sleeves are they hold heat!. No doubt the other ones are super nice but for now these dress up my engine compartment nicely. This pic was taken 2 years ago but looks pretty much the same except for new carb. One other thing I will add, I had to wrap a 3" section of plastic wire loom around the heater hose that touches the nut on the backside of my alternator to prevent it from arcing.
