16x8 4 nub 6 lug wheels

I know a couple of wheel shops in California can build these but now I can too. Welds need to be finished smooth but as is they balanced near perfect. I'll finish the first set of 5 up this weekend. I'll post more pictures when done.

You're killing me...just had the 15 x 8 wheels for my GMC powder coated. Do these come with a valve stem hole

no worries now you have a nice 15x8 spare set or a set for sale . Yes the valve stem hole will be drilled.

Hope so. I'll be listing these for sale in the parts board after I have a better idea of cost. Best guess for now is $1000-1250 a set of 5. Might do group buy, volume is the key. On my personal set I'm doing a hidden flush valve set inside the wheel.

Re: 16x8 4 nub 6 lug wheels

midunes,

I'd like to know more about the flush valve stem. Especially inside the wheel. How hard will it be to add air?

Please post pics when you're done.

Re: 16x8 4 nub 6 lug wheels

Filling won't be easy like factory but it won't be as ugly either. But it a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Just need to be able to reach the inside of the rim (not hard for me with 35's). Not recommended for mudding, but I plan on using these for streets and dunes. So I'll be airing up and down quite a bit. I'll get some more pictures up asap.

Here is a picture of the valves I'll be using. You would unscrew the cap, screw in the stem and air up.Name: flush air valve.jpg

Subscribed. Definitely interested ... You are way closer to me than California.

What is the backspacing on these and can that be customized at all as you make them?

4" backspacing, yes I'll make most any custom changes you'd like.

Re: 16x8 4 nub 6 lug wheels

Any updates on this? Were these wheels a factory option at one time? I have the 4 nub 15" on my K5, but I'd much rather have 16" if I can retain my "dog dish" caps.

Re: 16x8 4 nub 6 lug wheels

This item never came together for him. I talked to him quite some time ago before he got out of the parts business on this forum.

I ended up having a set made. I can tell you it is a very expensive process and finding good core centers out of factory 16" tall and skinnies is a real chore.
