Custom cell phone mount for my 74

In the beginning when I was restoring the interior I was planning on installing a retro stereo in here with some speakers but I really didn't want to take away from the originality of the truck. I have been using my cell phone as my stereo with a quality bluetooth speaker next to me. When I get out of the truck, I just lock it in the center console.

After doing some research I fount this sturdy aluminum cell phone holder for mountain bikes, $20 on amazon. It has an adjustment screw that allows you to use any phone (Sets a good amount of tension) and you can mount it so your phone can be Vertical or Horizontal and change the angle to your liking. I fabricated a mount in the original stereo slot since I wasn't going to put one in and to also maintain the clean look on the inside.

It works out really well since I can now use the GPS speedometer, mine isn't hooked up nor will it be as accurate. Its also nice to use Spotify and Google maps or anything that might be necessary for your personal preference.

Eventually Im going to get some plugs for the volume/tuner holes and possibly mount some factory knobs on them, dunno but something I've been thinking about.
