You get better power and low end grunt from a LS, even a 4.8. Packaging is easier with an LS. And as an added bonus, the spark plugs stay in on an LS until YOU choose to remove them. They also come out in one piece with an LS.
(Can you tell I've had issues with Ford Mod motors???)
