It can be done. There was a magazine article a few years back that showed how one person did it. In the article they put the poly bushing in a lathe and dug/cut a small groove in the center (to give the grease access all around the bushing) and then drilled a hole in the center of the bushing housing and installed a zerk fitting. I have not installed my poly trailing arm bushings yet so I don't know if I will add a zerk fitting or not.
