vinyl wrap dash ?

has anyone tried this vinyl wrap stuff on dash or other parts.

I've seen some very nicely done dip on these parts...never seen a wrap...that I was aware of..

just wondering if it,s just another snake oil fix or another pile of crap to get my money and time. Looks good on u tube but no results after the fact.

there used to be a fellow on here that would make a vinyl cover for the dash outta the same kinda material like a seat cover.. they looked great, but hes no longer a member h ere and I have no idea how that held up over time and heat
