I have new weatherstrip and usually work alone. It seems like you'd a couple people holding the glass and another to manipulate the gasket.
Did mine recently. I was inside with a set of suction cups, my cousin was outside working the string to pull the seal out and a friend was over helping put pressure on the opposite end of the glass where my cousin was pulling, this only helped prevent the seal from wanting to go back behind the window seam. I would say two people could do it, but the third person is good to help with the little stuff.
The three of us got the glass out, cleaned/scraped the glass, cleaned the channel and prepped the seals to go in with dish soap, all in about an hour and a half.
