LMC Grille Chrome or Silver
Hey guys, long time no see and even longer since I was here actively.
After many steps and changes in life, the '72 has effectively made semi-permanent residence in my garage, guarded on 3 sides by a pop-up, boxes, and... junk. While this setup has been mostly successful from keeping little hands and garage projects away from the truck's bubble, today I was betrayed by the floor jack. The handle on that little bugger fell over and knocked out a chunk of the egg crate through the truck cover. Many words were slung, but alas, the damage was done. So, I return to the forum I dedicated many an hour to many a year ago. As I already know this is a repo inner grille I got from LMC, I was going to recreate my steps and order the same. Now I can't remember if I ordered the silver or the chrome and can't seem to find a good representation of each. Do any of you fine people have pictures you could share and help me out? Thanks all! 72afr

Re: LMC Grille Chrome or Silver
mmm...ever thought of gluing it back together?
If you have all the parts, its not too tough...just need a lot of patience... Then just spray it silver... I have done this a few times with good results... |

Call LMC, they may have records of what you ordered...

Re: LMC Grille Chrome or Silver
Another reason to put on a grill guard!
My dad is convinced me putting on an original grill guard (brush guard) will "make the truck look ugly." I am sure people won't care that much and that terribly fragile "egg crate" needs all the protection it can get! |
