Does any one know what the numbers on the frame mean? So far I have found five different sets of numbers on my frame and I am wondering what they mean? Does any one know what they may mean. An help is greatly appreciated.

The numbers are part of a VIN. All the major pieces are like a jig saw puzzel.

The numbers are C5S105116 which there are 3 of that. 34898, KSC 7504, 350005- 106 S, 10-5 -74 1, KSC 74 6, 6274030. C5S105116 says part of my vin. I think 10- 5 -74 1 means my frame was made in October of 74 fifth day. I am not sure about the rest.

350005- 106 S, 10-5 -74 1
350005 is the GM part stamp number of that frame rail, wil be same except for last digit on the other framerail the 67-72 date stamp codes dont work the same as 73-up, at least on noe of the 67-721 ive ever had, the codes dont make sense, they use larger digits that are possible.. |
