Best Drip Rail Clamp mirrors for ads?

Made a mistake and bought a pair of short curved arm mirrors for my 54. Theres no way they work for me. Way too hard to see in any position and don't stick out far enough especially on passenger side. What works for you and where did you get them?

Just my $.02 but the clamp on mirrors are a compromise from the get go. You use them to minimize the “look” of having mirrors at all. If you have them and then don’t like them I’d suggest you install stock mirrors. Those are; of course, a compromise compared to a modern vehicle’s mirrors but so is the entire truck when it’s 60 years old.

Yeah, they suck but I have them on my 58 & 66 because I like the minimalist look. I think you can get the 4" extension also, maybe that would help. I put them on the top of the door, right at the bar the separates the window and the wing window. I had considered those west coast mirrors. Old school look and actually functional, just too bulky for me.

so do they stay on or vibrate loose

I think I got these from LMC. Been 4 years and they havn't fallen off yet! I use locktite on the screws. I only run the drivers side one. Removing my truck cover does loosen them some over time, so kind of a maintence issue. They work ok but are not without issues.

In 4yrs of use I have not had any issues with them vibrating loose, and I've put a lot of miles on the 66.
