Re: another ccsb build

Nice score on a K30! Are the square crews really back up in price? I've been considering selling my cc swb project.

Old thread back from the dead. To answer your question, 73-87 truck prices in general are on the rise. Hard to find trucks like crew cabs are bringing good money if they are clean and optioned well. The SBCC depends on condition and quality of the conversion. Unfortunately there have been so many "hacked" conversions done it leaves many buyers skeptical of any conversion unless they are able to verify the quality of the work.

Re: another ccsb build

Couple of updated pictures. My K30 is running now, swapped the dually stuff out and finished up the lift just before dark.

My c10 is just about done in paint, painter just needs to polish it and reassemble it

Looks great. How much lift did you throw at the crew?

Re: another ccsb build

single headlight grille is growing on me a little. Still debating which front end I want to use. Think I'm leaning toward an 87 dual headlight

Re: another ccsb build

That looks tough! My vote would be either dual headlight setup, if you are asking for opinions.

Thanks, I think It'll end up with an 87 grille since I have all of the parts to swap.

Still need to get it to the exhaust shop to get the y pipe re-done and drive shafts lengthened.

Re: another ccsb build

I'm horrible about taking pictures while working and I'm not doing anything thats new to anyone here but here are some "afters"

The K30 is getting close to almost done. I installed new seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, sound deadened floor, stereo, tint, door weatherstripping... Still need to install door panels and would like fuel injection.

The c10 has new jl audio amp and subs, weatherstrip in the doors, still needs carpet and headliner.

I've been driving both trucks as much as possible the last couple months and trying to work out all of the bugs.

My poor 2wd crew cab has been pushed aside but hopefully I will get back to it when the weather warms up this spring.
