Need recommendation on swap parts for ls3 porterbuilt truck

I am mid process on my 68 c10 build and need to order some parts. I trying to figure out what my best options are for a few parts I am ready to order. I have the porter built (stage 3 ) Version 7.

Questions
1. My Ls3 is out of a 2011 escalade so it has the truck intake (Tall). Will I have clearence for this?
2.What master cylinder/ brake booster should I go with that will give me adequate clearance with the Ls3. I converted to 4 wheel disc brakes.
3. Can stock exhaust manifolds be used? If so , I still may run aftermarket so recommendations are appreciated.
4. Am I correct in that the a/c compressor has to be relocated to fit with the swap? I have a 4l75e ordered from chevy coming in next week so I will getting the engine and trans set in hopefully next weekend.

I am somewhat getting to the final stages before I break it back down for paint so I would love to hear some advice from people who have completed similar projects. Here is my frame as it sits tonight.

Re: Need recommendation on swap parts for ls3 porterbuilt truck

1. With the v7, should be no problems, as the engine is much lower than previous versions (near stock crankshaft centerline).

2. Same here, stock-sized should work. I’d stay at least 11” booster, or dual 8” if you’re looking for clearance. 4-wheel disc master of your choosing

3. Stock Camaro LS3 manifolds should clear, otherwise CPP or Hooker (or f-body, or trailblazer). Chevelle shorty or mid length headers is what PB recommends—I’m gonna see if long tubes will work

4. I’ve seen people fit the compressor in stock location swaps, though I have yet to see low mount with a dropmember. Like you, I hope to mock up soon and measure for accessories

Check out my ‘70 build in my signature. It’s an in-progress DMv7 LS swap

1. Not sure on the newer version, but the truck intake wouldn't work when I built mine.

2. I used a Wilwood setup with 9" booster using the CaptainFab booster mount.

3. 2010+ Camaro exhaust work great!

4. The factory AC compressor would not work with the older PB version, I went with a complete Holley accessory setup.

5. You'll need different front wheel tubs (SloshTubz or Hills Rod & Custom).

6. You'll also need to raise the rear bed floor, meaning you will need shortened rear wheel tubz. I'll put a shameless plug in here for my ChubTubz, . http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=675754

7. You'll need new hood hinges. If you are going to use PBFab hood hinges, I make a bracket that will allow you to bolt them to your hood without welding.

You can check out my build thread as I encountered most of the stuff that you will: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=551258

Appreciate the input. Truck looks awsome. Here is Brandon from porterbuilts input which pretty much confirms what you said. The tall manifold may or may not work. More than likely, it will not, but we have had some guys have luck with it. I believe they did have to run a different accessory set-up though.

"You should be ok with a 7" booster mounted on the firewall.
No, stock headers will not work. The only headers we know will fit 100% are the set we sell. You can order them direct from our dealer c10shop.com. They have them in stock.
Yes, the a/c compressor will have to be relocated. You can get a bracket from Dirty Dingo. "

Sure ill have some questions for you as the build goes on
