Wheel patterns
I have a 1963 Chevrolet Fleetside pickup truck two wheel drive with a 6 lug bolt pattern I purchased a set of rims 6 lug bolt pattern Chevrolet but they came off of a 2007 the bolt pattern matches up no problem but the rims will not go over the Hub it is too small and the rim does not bolt up firmly against the brake drum I might want to add that my current wheel size is 15 in and the new rims are 17 in what can I do I'm not understanding

Re: Wheel patterns
The one way to use those newer wheels is to have the center hole of the wheels machined larger to accommodate your stock hubs. Keep in min d that the newer stock wheels have a deep backspacing which may or may not work on your truck. You may be able to use those wheels with wheel spacers, which I am not a fan of.

Re: Wheel patterns
When you look for wheels you need to be aware of the center bore size, bolt pattern, back spacing and the lug nut style. Center bore on is the issue you are having now. Bolt circle is 6 on 5 1/2 and you have that worked out. Back spacing locates where the center of the wheel is and more than 4" on our trucks can cause issues on the rear with rubbing on the wheel wells. Lug nut style can cause problems with the seat type may not be available for the 7/16X20 studs on the truck. Also the wheel studs may be to short to get enough thread for the lug nut to pull up on.
