Removing wiper motor?

Trying to pull the wiper motor, is it as simple as removing the hex nut on the dash? After pulling the knob there was what looked like a jam-nut which I tried to turn loose. It snapped right off.

Re: Removing wiper motor?

That is a wiper switch not a wiper motor. I can't quite tell in the pic if there is something that should not be there, but typically you just need to unscrew the bezel nut with the 2 oblong dimples, from the wiper switch. Then it all comes out of the dash.

Yep, didn't mean to say motor. I typed that after a seven hour drive and my brain was a little frazzled.

Thanks for the reply.

Those are bezels that like they were painted at some point. They screw off.
