Boyds tank with Walbro pump

Anyone else have a problem with any of the rear mount fuel tanks with internal fuel pumps? My Boyd's tank has a Walbro GSS342 with 8000 miles on it and has developed a very loud high pitched whine in the last 1000 miles. Not sure if it is about to fail or if this is what Walbro pumps sound like at this age. There were a lot of Boyd tanks sold on this site in 2012 and later and just wondered if anyone else has the same issue.

Re: Boyds tank with Walbro pump

My Boyd's tank came with an Aeromotive pump . . . no issues for the past month or so of use.

That pump is likely on its way out. It shouldn't be making any notable noise.
