Cup Holder Help
My cup holders are shallow (3 1/8" x 1 1/2") and was wondering what options do I have for my Orca Cups to keep from tipping over.

Re: Cup Holder Help
Buy some steel or aluminum tube that has a tight fit to the holes. Cut it to your desired height that will hold your cup and screw or epoxy it in place.

Re: Cup Holder Help
I don't have a picture right now, but I've used 3" pipe, steel or PVC to make cup holders. In your situation, a flat piece of steel or aluminum, with the cup holder mounted on it, could be held in place under the console. The cup holder would be in front of the console and secured by the console itself.

Re: Cup Holder Help
Test fit your cup in the cup holder from the late 90s early 2000s Silverados. if it would work for you, pull one at the pull a part. I got mine for 5 bucks. they are riveted to the seat bottoms, so that's kind of a pain. Then you could mount it to the seat frame. It's not the best picture, but this is what I have and it works for me.

Re: Cup Holder Help
I bought the one from LMC that slides into the ash tray. It works pretty good for canned drinks. Most other drinks are too big for it. I quit using it because I noticed the ash tray was starting to bend at the bottom. It puts a lot of leverage on the ash tray. If you leave it in there long enough, someone will lean on it or put too much force on it and bend the ash tray. I’d like to find one like was posted above from a later model truck that attaches to the bottom of the seat.
