This is always what we recommend. These are good lubricants that don't hurt your paint and will dissipate in a short amount of time which is what you want.

In this video we show you how to install this seal correctly. This was installed on Mike Losh's 65 (boosted bertha) that was in our booth at Sema in 2015.
