Only problem I've ever had since swapping to the Edelbrok 1406 was it spit and sputtered. But that was operator error. I let the truck sit for several months and the gas went bad.
I removed the carb a shot a little (actually a lot of) B12 and a drained gas tank later, it ran like new.
