I had a slim line 16" fan on my TF and it wouldn't cool the little 305 TPI sufficiently.

For sure run dual fans and you should be fine. When I was running my Inline 6 I had dual fans cause the water pump would not clear, as you can see in my attached video, they cleared fine when offset and cooled great. I ran duel fan controls and had the top come on before the bottom by a few degrees. Hope this helps, being as the fans tapper down at the edges, that is what makes it happen.
