3200 Bed Wood Length
I am making my own wood bed and I am about to cut several hundred dollars worth of wood to length.
Every thing I have read (I searched all the old posts, and looked at PaulsGMC and Mar K's site) is that on a 3200 Longbed, the wood should be cut to 89 inches with maybe an 1/8 shorter to allow for expansion. Just checking to see if anyone had different info or suggestions on the board length before I start cutting?? The bed is completely apart, but I confirmed the bedside measurement (new sides from Mar K) are exactly 89 inches. Thanks Bob

Re: 3200 Bed Wood Length
I would have posted the link for Pauls bed wood diagram. I would measure the inside of the bed where the wood fits to be positive or even cut a piece or two of scrap wood to length to see how the length works.

Re: 3200 Bed Wood Length
do you own a tape measure?
measure your bed and deduct 1/4" for expansion, 1/8" on each end
