Our 70 GMC K2500 had 5+1 on the bottom plus another set of 5 overloads on top of the main spring.
We have since removed and went to Skyjacker Soft Ride 4" lift and it has 5 +1.

My '72 K20 has AALs and Hellwig overloads.... the original spring packs are 5 leafs.
It probably varied depending on the GVWR of the truck. Can't recall the numbers but mine is a relatively low rating (hence the overloads).
