55-59 LS Headers

Getting ready to start LS install in 59 Short Fleet - what is everybody using for headers??
I would prefer to use mid length headers if available. I’m doing T56 6 speed with hydraulic clutch so I don’t have any issues with linkage.

Re: 55-59 LS Headers

I used Corvette Z06 exhaust manifolds. My understanding is they’re good for well in excess of 500hp. My mildly cammed LQ4 won’t exceed 400hp so I didn't see a need to struggle with fitting headers. We cut off & smoothed extra fittings and will have them ceramic coated.
