16 inch wheels

Hey all, I found these for sale. Just wondering about them. They are 16" wheels with 7.50 bias tires on them. Tires all hold air. Are they worth buying and what did the 16" wheels come on? Guy says they came off a 66. Thanks, Joseph.

Is this a "whats it worth" question? Because there is a place for that: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...splay.php?f=83

Re: 16 inch wheels

Buy 'em! I think the 16" wheels were only 5 inches wide, so these may not accept a wide tire if you plan to swap in the future. I have a set and love the look of the slightly larger tire (as opposed to standard 15") in the wheel opening.

Thanks all. I can get the whole set for 50 bucks. I figured maybe they came on the 4x4 trucks but not sure. Joseph

They came on both 2x4 and 4x4. Actually have a 66 with same wheels 2x4 long bed and a 66 short bed 2x4 both documented to the trucks with 16s. Also a 64 short bed 4x4 with same 16s.

Re: 16 inch wheels

Well I bought them. Don't know if I should have or not. One of them is off an older truck so it doesn't match. Don't know what I'm going to do with them now! Here's a pic of the odd ball wheel, maybe you guys might know what it's off of. Joseph
