1979 Turn Signal Switch w/ Tilt

I'm trying to find a turn signal switch for a1979 Blazer with Tilt. Every catalog I search (Brothers, LMC, Classic Industries...) only lists a switch for non-tilt truck. Does anyone know if there is a difference or where I can find a switch for a truck with tilt?

Re: 1979 Turn Signal Switch w/ Tilt

Download the 79-84 parts books from the manuals link in my signature and look on PDF page 495 & 496 of the illustration book.

According to the above mentioned 79-84 GM Light Truck parts books the 1979 C, K, & G series Tilt Columns use GM turnsignal switch # 1997985.

Re: 1979 Turn Signal Switch w/ Tilt

No problem.
Lots of info in the parts books.
The illustrations are sometimes worth their weight in gold.
The forward sections have a bunch of useful tables for decoding things like engine and axle numbers along with speedo gear tables and RPO lists that are actually relevant to your vehicle and year.
