Yeah, I was afraid of that. I have found a couple on the net for sale though. Have you ever seen one cleaned up? I'm just wondering if you can get all the ugly off of them?

I have been considering running a 6.0 intake from the beginning. I was actually looking for a 6.0 motor when I bought my LS1, but couldn't find one. At the time, I had no idea that it flowed better than a LS1/LS6 intake, but I had a feeling it might create better torque because of the longer runners. After doing some research, I found out my assumptions were correct. According to the latest Chevy High Performance mag, it flows as good as anything "except the LSX" which is a pretty expensive intake. The real reason I want one is because it's much taller. The LS1 looks squished in our truck. I tried to raise mine when I put it in, and it helped some. The 6.0 intake would help a lot more... |

Hey if it's a Z06 intake that'll be fine with me. I'll go take a pic of it today and try and get a part# so I can confirm what it's from.

If it's low and flat like an LS1 intake, but it's red, then it's probably a Z06. If it's tall black and has bumps all over it, then it's a 6.0. Yeah, you better get some pics....
