dash question
Is there any way to use both the cluster lights and the gauges in my dash. If not it's not a big deal. I just thought it would be kinda cool.

Re: dash question
If you have a gauge cluster, it already has a brake warning light, and a temp light that is not connected. You could connect a warning light sender on the passenger side engine head and connect it to the cluster through the connector. You will notice there is one empty slot in the connector and that is for the temp warning light. I will eventually be doing that, haven't got a round tuit yet. Here is a thread on the subject. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=726025

Re: dash question
I did something similar to what you're asking in a 66 I used to have - but the general arts and crafts part of the idea could apply here. You could use your unused temp light for something like a parking brake engaged reminder warning as discussed in this thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=419932 or for whatever you wanted, but this might give you an idea how to do it. I'd still leave the brake warning light (functional) for its intended use as it has safety implications, but you could do this with the unused temp light.
