New to this forum and have a few questions
Hello everyone. I just bought a 69 c10 lwb this weekend. It is a 350 4bb with an auto trans, ps, manual brakes, usual rust couple of holes in the floor under your feet. I do not have an owners manual with this truck so I wanted to find out a few things. How big is the fuel tank? It also has only two seat belts and I would like to add one in the middle any suggestions? Lastly what do I need to add power brakes to this truck? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Fuel tank is around 20 gallons. It vaires a bit, but most say they are 21 gallon tanks. That is what my 70 has. You canget extra belts for the center from vendors or possibly on the parts board. Ebay is also another source.

Thanks for the response. I looked around at some of the pesto sites and saw only 20 gallon tanks. But it never hurts to confirm. Another thing any guess as to a ballpark miles per gallon with this truck. Thanks again.

Welcome to the forum..you'll learn tons of stuff here.
Here is a thread on the booster info http://64.246.42.114/vboard/showthre...t=power+brakes Most of these trucks seem to get 10 MPG or so...regardless of the engine. Some get lucky and a few have seen 20 MPG...but don't expect that. Where you at in the world? |

I am a California transplant now living in Oklahoma City. If I add another seatbelt in the middle for my soon to be 8yo can I just add the belt to the existing mounting location or do I need to drill new holes?

You should be able to add the belts using the existing bolts.

I unbolted the inner bolts on the seat belts and placed my extra belt there with the stock ones..just doubled up under the same bolt basicly. I used a generic parts store belt, but it looks like it is straight froma Honda or something.
