1965 GMC Interior color- fawn? paint i.d or?

Hey guys, most of the time I'm over on the 67-'72 zone but I have a '66 Chevy that I am working on as well...and I have a buddy who just got a '65 GMC.

So I have a question that hopefully someone can help me out with:
Does anyone know the paint color for the fawn interior on these trucks?
Ideally a modern base/clear identification....or any ideas on this?

My buddy is going to redo his and is trying to figure this out and I will be redoing mine at some point as well so its always good to check with the experts!

Here is a quick pic of my '66...it needs a few things but it is a good truck to start with.
As you can see the original owner took it upon himself to pain the interior some sort of poor quality light brown/saddle colour...with a bad spray bomb, so that has to go, lol.

if you have one of these on the driver's kicks panel, might lead to the oe paint code..

here's about the best shot I have of the least faded parts of the exterior [door jamb] and the interior..



this area covered by the seat back had me puzzled, 50 years of sunlight or part of the interior that wasn't sprayed??

From a '64 GMC book. The descriptive name kept changing from year to year '62-'66, but same color. Metallic Fawn, Medium Fawn to Medium Fawn Metallic by '65 and '66.

Don't forget 66 has the darker dash krinkle finish too
Also, I seem to remember Krylon Champagne Nouveau as a fairly close match for the rest of the interior.

The best modern match is 2003 Nissan Sunlit Sand code EVO. I used it in this '65 C10.
