Re: Front end pancake and castor mod in one
Thanks for replying David,
Ive been reading through your builds, pity about the photo bucket thing, but you have a very interesting approach. Its encouraging to see guys like yourself doing things outside of the box And now I feel like i need to spend a few hours running practice tig beads before i cut and shut the crossmember, otherwise the results might be too embarrassing to post up here. Your rows of dimes are beautiful. Anyhow as no one has come up with anything against the plan, I have a spare day tomorrow with pancake on the cards. Ive made up the bracing and marked up with 1.5" out of the back and an extra 5/16" out of the front. That will give about 2.5 degrees of extra castor. I expect it will be months before this thing hits the streets so nobody hold your breath waiting for a road test. I'll post some pics in my build thread. Cheers Tony
