Picked up and paying on a future project truck
Well I hadda buy it just begging to be put to work. Got the final truck I want for my collection 1965 Chevy 1 ton with a gin pole pto bed. It definitely needs a new cab luckily my brother has a big back window gmc cab I can get for pretty cheep to fix that issue. starting the list and plan now for when I can get it home and start working on it.

Re: Picked up and paying on a future project truck
some more pictures aftermarket ac system disconnected of course not sure how hard it will be to rebuild it. Aftermarket vacuum brake booster in place not sure yet will probably need a complete brake tear down and double check... No power steering of course but that is easily remedied as I know where a power assist unit is located at. Finally an H code 327 engine did not have time to get all the stamp details off of it. made at Tonawonda plant may 2nd. sealed and dirty due to the lovely west texas weather lol the cab could be rebuilt but I have available a bbw cab available that would just need the center hump changed to accomodate the 4 speed so that will be the plan there.

Re: Picked up and paying on a future project truck
Hi Clyde,
Yup the 2 ton 62 gmc was 2 grand the 1 ton 327 was 1500 kinda a no brainer lol same guy has both trucks. The 62 had a 305 a or b V6 engine. Both supposedly run did not have time to test that out probably figure a trip down next march to get the 1 ton resettled to my brothers property next top smurfette for when we get relocated. Will plan on thrown some carb cleaner and fire the 327 over at that time Bill yup finalized my collection been looking for a 3rd truck for awhile now now my retirement projects are aquired Sean

Re: Picked up and paying on a future project truck
Theres a place on the east coast that specializes in booster parts. A little searching should come up with a name.
