Authentic Walbro Fuel pump?
Well after checking a few more things, I have determined that my low fuel pressure problem must be my fuel pump going bad. I have replaced the regulator, inline filter, and even the gauge on my fuel rail.
I checked and have 12.1 volts at the plug for the pump. the fuel pressure drops to zero as soon as the truck is turned off. After doing some research on Walbro fuel pumps, I have found out there are a lot of fakes out there. When I bought my pump 3 years ago, I paid $60 for it off ebay so I am pretty sure it was a fake and that may be why it failed on me. So I don't go through this again, where is the best place to buy a genuine Walbro GSS342 fuel pump?

Re: Authentic Walbro Fuel pump?
I may be searching wrong but when I search for Walbro GSS342 it says this.
0 matches for "walbro GSS342" at SummitRacing.com I did find it odd they don't list the most common Walbro fuel pump. Nevermind lol: they list it as GSS342BX (bx means boxed).

Re: Authentic Walbro Fuel pump?
I've bought a couple from this place. https://www.ebay.com/itm/26099763208...84.m1439.l2649
They have 100% good feedback and over 29,000 transactions, that's saying something! I bought the one for my green truck from them like 7 years ago and its still going strong. also, so you don't get freaked out like I did on the last one I bought, they no longer say Walbro on them, they say TI Automotive, that is the company that bought out Walbro a long time ago, they just recently started using their own name.

Re: Authentic Walbro Fuel pump?
Well looks like I got a fake Walbro 3 years ago.
I replaced my fuel pump this weekend and got my fuel pressure back. Everyone please beware when buying a Walbro pump. Make sure it is the real deal.

Re: Authentic Walbro Fuel pump?
its safe to say you'll always get a real one from summit, they don't dabble in that fake chineese crap.
glad you got it figured out
