DBW pedal for Squarebodies.
I have had a 98 Diesel pedal for a while but never got around to trying to re-wire it. I ran across this video today on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX1X...A&index=2&t=0s Has anyone else tried this? I saw some info a while back from the guy that did the 8.1L swap and he moved about 3 wires around if I remember correctly.

Re: DBW pedal for Squarebodies.
I did this to my '77 swaped with a 2004 5.3 with tac module from a 2004 2500HD. Just like the video, cut a slot in plastic on harness end and changed the wire and it works great. Keeps the pedal in the same position with no adapters or welding. Ill post back if any problems but so far its great. I got the pedal off amazon its a Standard Motor Products APS130

I have seen a few sets of instructions floating around online that say there are more than one wire to swap around. Then this Video says you only have to move one wire. From the research I have done, it looks like the 98 Diesel pedal has 3 sensors built into it. The 04 truck Tac module/pedal only uses 2 sensors in the pedal. From what I have figured out, the low reference/ground for sensor 1 needs to moved from slot "E" to "A". just like the video. It looks like sensor 2 needs to have the wires for slots "B" and "D" swapped also. This swaps the 5v reference signal and the low reference/ground wires to the correct spots.
