Lowered now steering problem ???
I lowered my truck a few weeks ago 6"/4" then a few days ago I replaced all the steering linkages, Pitman arm, Idler arm, Inner and outer track rod ends but now the track rod arms are hitting the pitman and idler arms on full lock ?
I don't remember this happening after lowering it and before I replaced the steering parts. Has this happened to anyone else ? Is there a way to sort this ? |

Re: Lowered now steering problem ???
Looks like you have your drag link flipped. your tie rod nuts should be facing forward.

Flipped end to end. The pitman arm was put on the idler arm hole which makes everything backwards.

Re: Lowered now steering problem ???
Like the others have said, center link is flipped. Nuts should face the front. Put 90 degree grease zirks on the tie rods too, other wise they are almost impossible to grease.
Never mind the grease zirk statement you must have a different style of tie rods.
