Throttle cable for rear engine position?

You need a throttle cable from a 4x4. The 4x4s had the engine mounted in the rear position from factory. Not sure if they repop the 4x4 specific throttle cable. You might have to find a nice OEM unit for your project.

Classic parts of America has them... part# 89-729 for 350 4wd $21.95 ea. these are repos. but work in my 72 C-10 with engine in the "rear" position in the frame.
