My 72 K10,K5 and K20 trucks all had CV joints.

My truck has a 70 K10 chassis and drive train and it has one. Until I read this thread I didn't even realize I had one. Good, one less thing for me to obsess over

Interesting, I always thought it was weird that there wasn’t one there but never worried enough to look into it. 4x4 works great at stock height but I’ve always planned on a Tom woods or similar once I put the lift on it.
My truck was an old ranch hand from Utah so I’m sure it probably wore the cv out and the easiest fix was to remove the cv yoke and just run the straight shaft.
