x2 ^^^! That is exactly how I feel. If you want all custom mounting for suspension you can build a 4wd from a way more common 2wd. Not worried about original? Why even start with a 67-72 K/20 chassis? We are fortunate to own 47-52 year old lower production factory 3/4t four wheel drives here. I have turned my thinking toward the long term view, both looking back and looking forward. I have a Dana 60 front end with TruTrac. I have HO52s with No-Spin. I have a 4spd set-up. Sometimes I'd rather have a utilitarian truck built just to my liking than a well optioned Sierra Wideside w/automatic trans. I figure I will "create" that truck and keep mine what it is.
