Hardtop Glass
I bought a full set of smoke tented glass from Auto City Classics about two years ago. The door glass is tempered and has nice rounded edges but the glass for the hardtop is laminated glass with rough edges.
Didn't think much of it at first but finally got around to installing the glass in the top and one of the side windows is starting to delaminate around the edge. The other two pieces look fine right now but I'm not sure I want to put them in if they are going to delaminate in a year or two. Anyone know who has or could make a set of tempered glass for the hardtop with the smoke tent for a reasonable price? I have the original glass I could pull templates from. |

Re: Hardtop Glass
Problem solved. VintageGlass said they could make them for $345 shipped.

Re: Hardtop Glass
For anyone else out there with this problem, if you have a template any good glass shop (not windshield repair place) can send it out to get tempered glass made to your pattern.
