help installing steering column
Gents,
I'm confused on how the steering column goes in at the firewall. The clamp is well understood, but I am assuming the rubber gasket goes in from the inside with the metal plates behind it? to sandwich the rubber against the firewall? Then how does the carpet fit around the column? some inside and outside pics of the column to firewall space would be real helpful! I would appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

Thanks. Helps a little. Does the manual say what size screws are used for the rubber gasket/metal plates? Posted via Mobile Device |

I thought you had a 67-72 truck. Didn't notice this was in the 73-87 section .
