changing from 3ott to auto trans
I am converting over to an automatic transmission and so I am changing over to a automatic steering column. How do I wire the neutral safety switch when I have just the 2 wire back up light switch plug. Is it already in wiring harness or is it something I will have to rewire? Thanks in advance for the help....

Re: changing from 3ott to auto trans
My factory stick shift ‘67 did not have the pigtail for a neutral safety switch. Had to expose the purple wire coming from ignition switch, cut and add female connectors for the neutral switch. Super easy. Not sure about later 68-72??

Search the board that is what got me wired correctly, but its what weim55 mentioned. Also be sure to wire up the backup lights, which If i recall will require the 90 degree type plug connector.

Re: changing from 3ott to auto trans
If your new steering column has the NSS switch cut the purple wire and put the lead from the fuse block to switch. Then the other lead on the other connection of the switch. Then the backup lights on the other 2 connections.
