Thanks Twinshadows, I got lucky and found a brass spacer that was the right size inside and outside, it slipped on the pedal pin, the brake push rod fit right over and it works. I extended the push rod about 5/16" and I'm happy with the fit.

Now I will keep your recommendation for next time, because I may not get that lucky next time.
