thanks for the replies, it turns heads everywhere i go, i'm hoping to get some guys over on the 4th and take the top off, i'm sure that will be tricky, the wife keeps nagging about "you said the top would come off, i have not seen it yet", and the tire/wheel combo when i bought it was outlaw 2's 15x10 wheels and bfg all terrain 33x12.5 and they just barely fit on the stock height, but they cleared now i have 15x8 ralleys and 31x10 coopers and it rides and steers so much better now, thanks again and luv the site....brody p.

I like the look of that front grill! Nice score! The top is pretty easy to take off- just be careful if it is a double wall top to not strip the bolts cause they are a pain to replace. A few bolts out and a few friends to lift and there you go "topless"!!! :-)

ColoradoK5.com has some suggestions for a pully system to lift & store the top. I think a few members here has similar systems. http://coloradok5.com/topstorage.shtml

got the top off today, took the family for a ride, it doesn't get much better, then we run by a buddies house and when we pull in his 1yr old boxer runs out and jumps on my passenger door leaving 9 scratches, just my luck....going to have to get the rubbing compound out
