Saginaw Gears Popping Out
My reverse and 1st are popping out in my 3 speed saginaw when releasing clutch. Tranny shop adjusted the shift rods but said it needs a rebuild and parts are hard to come by. Didn't seem to make sense because of the sheer number of these that were made.
Before I spend a lot of money needlessly, has this happened to anyone and what was the solution? Besides, EBAY, where is a good parts place? TIA -Nate Last edited by G8rN@te61; 10-19-2020 at 07:15 PM. |

Re: Saginaw Gears Pooping Out
Are you sure it’s not your motor torquing over to the right causing them to pop out.
Check the motor and bell housing mounts. Easy to install a retainer chain to limit movement as an experiment. Otherwise these guys might have parts. http://www.garagemotorsports.com/muncie.htm |
